Your First Visit
When visiting for a comprehensive exam, you will spend about 1.5 hours with our team. During this visit, we will perform a pre-clinical examination, complete with diagnostic imaging, probing, and a 60-point new patient exam. We’ll also discuss any potential findings that we come across and formulate a customized treatment plan for you to review.
If arriving for a dental hygiene exam, you will spend 1.5 hours with our hygienist to undergo a full mouth probing and limited intraoral photos. Then, we will perform a 3-point exam that allows us to identify and treat a particular area. We may also find it beneficial for you to return for a comprehensive exam.

Dental Insurance
At Hamilton Lakes Dentistry, we refuse to let insurance companies decide what is best for you; therefore, we are not tied to any insurance network. However, being an out-of-network provider doesn’t mean we won’t work with your insurance company! We still want you to receive the maximum reimbursement possible and are happy to file claims with your insurance, just like a typical dental office. This allows us to see one patient at a time, use high quality materials, and give you unbiased recommendations.
Financing Available
To assist in lowering out-of-pocket costs, we are pleased to offer flexible financing. We offer short term in-office payment plans, as well as long term payments via CareCredit. CareCredit is what we work with to help you keep more money in your pocket and remain within your budget while working toward a healthier, more beautiful smile.
